The OpalBar studio is now open in Mt Molloy, so we can start focussing on the website again. 

Back from Bens recent trip to the Queensland Opal Fields, we are working hard on the cutting wheels and discovering those wonderous colours nestled in the ironstone boulders.

We had a great time visiting opal mines through out Queensland, especially the times when we participated in 'moving some dirt'. With a wet winter Outback Queensland rarely looks so lush. Now we can settle into months of cutting and polishing, as mining season has wrapped up for the year in most places. The rain has made the gound very muddy and  difficult to work.
